Coach Hayes, a 2008 Graduate of Cahokia High School, is a dedicated Horizontal and Vertical Jump Coach for the Dashers Track Club. He brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion to coaching young athletes. He’s also became NASM certified in 2018 and a licensed therapist in the state of Illinois.

After high school, Rudy attended Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and earning his Bachelor’s Degree Psychology. He later furthered his education to achieving a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health from McKendree University in 2022. Coach Hayes currently works as a IMMA Therapist.

His focus is on motivation and sports performance. Hayes’ athletic background includes competing at the collegiate level for Florissant Valley Community College and Rend Lake Community College, as well as competing unattached for multiple years. He loves to inspire and guide young athletes to reach their full potential and achieve their best performance in track and field. Now, Coach Hayes has join our program in 2024 bringing unparalleled knowledge, wisdom, and professionalism.
